Having participated in the WRC as far back as the 1980s, its fair to say that Volkswagen is no stranger to the event. VW Golf R (2010) first drive CAR review
After reinventing the hot hatch as a V6 nearly 20 years ago, Volkswagen has ditched the concept and returned to its four pot roots. But is the new 2010 VW Golf R different enough from a GTi to justify a £30k price?

We are doing the Logo again!
Beetle, Kombi, Karmann Ghia, Variant, Buggy and a few more VW names are a household name everywhere. But then again Volkswagen has been around for almost as long as there have been cars. It all started way way back in February 1908. At the time, six automobiles lined up in New York’s Times Square and had intentions of racing from New York to Paris. This was billed as the Great Automobile Race. The lead car for a good portion of the race was the now famous 1907 Thomas Flyer, Model 35, built in Buffalo, NY. The car had some 70hp coming from a stock four cylinder engine, but saddled with an extra large fuel tank, spare tires and running boards.

2012 Volkswagen Beetle to be unveiled on April 18th
The 2012 Volkswagen Beetle has been spied undisguised and given away by Oprah, but the company has just announced plans to unveil the model on April 18th.

As for the car itself, the 2012 Beetle will have Ragster-inspired styling with a dual exhaust system and 19-inch alloy wheels. While the exterior design will be relatively familiar, the interior will be dramatically improved thanks to higher quality materials, an upgraded infotainment system, and additional passenger room.
