1978 Jurgens VW Autovilla
Paperwork up to date
Join the Cult…. During the mid-seventies, Jurgens developed the Autovilla based on the Type 2 VW kombi, which had become a familiar sight on the roads and at camping sites. It became a real outdoor icon of the vibrant camping culture. The Autovilla was paired with a 2.0litre engine that hit a top speed which was the same as the cruising speed of a modest 100km/h.
On offer, is a stunning example that has been maintained well. Even though this specific camper was resprayed, it had pretty much no rust whatsoever. The interior is in good original condition, except for the front seats that were changed to VW Golf seats. The windows still have their fly nets fitted. After all these years, the original Jurgens crockery is still in the cupboard. Mechanically – its perfect, it drives like a dream and just beckons for a memorable road trip
