1991 Nissan 300ZX Twin Turbo V6
Colour: Metallic grey
The Iconic Nissan 300ZX was a genuine Supercar contender of its time on so many levels. The technology was both pioneering and advanced for the times; the performance was proper sportscar with enough ‘get up & go’ to embarrasses many a supercar; and then the looks…even by today’s standards, the achingly beautiful 300 ZX has aged extremely well 30yrs later. It’s still a marvel to those who know!
Often referred as the Fairlady, the 300ZX was anything but! Proportions of a sleek sportscars hide the 2 plus 2 seating configuration, each occupant cocooned in their wrap around seats. This being the Twin Turbo V6 pumps out a healthy (even by today’s standards) 224kw and 384nm propelling the sleeks shape to 100km/h in low 5 seconds and onto a top speed of 250km/h!!! The 4 wheel steering was brought over from the R31 Skyline giving the ZX superior handling! The interior came standard with all the tech and gear one wants from electric windows to power assisted seats – all the gadgets one would expect from the top of line Audi’s and BMW’s of the time. The appeal doesn’t stop there…the 300ZX is even a Targa where one can manually remove the glass roof panels and go cruising the boulevard topless.
Our Nissan 300ZX has had a glass out full respray in the lovely metallic grey! The seats have been recovered in a Suede and Leather combo along with the multi functional steering wheel recovered in a performance orientated suede. The engine has had a few goodies fitted and a tune whilst the performance exhaust pumps out a low growl giving a hint to its speed. The full suspension has been replaced with imported shocks and springs. The Drift style wheels are 18inch with brand new rubber with less than 100km’s on them and we still have the original 16inch wheels from standard. The vehicle has had a recent service and check over. There are still some outstanding items we haven’t got round to which will take this example to its next level and that’s simply why the price is much lower than it should be.
The accolades this model received during its entire life cycle were immense!! Literally every magazine named it “Car of the Year” or in their “Top 10 best drivers cars of all time”. Now considered a classic and many speculating that it that will rocket in appreciation…it’s a given in our opinion. If you looking to get on the road and eat up mile after mile comfortably, put the hammer down when needed, then this collectable future classic has your name on it!
